SCRITS combine a theatre “scratch” with the constructive feedback of a visual arts “crit.” Offering a platform for emerging young artists to present their work to a new audience. Feedback is structured by the audiences’ response to the work and will follow each showing.
Each SCRIT will consist of an initial 10-15 minute performance/presentation period followed by a 20-minute discussion. Artists must be under the age of 25 and can be working across the spectrum of theatre, visual arts, dance and performance. Arts professionals, artists and peers will comprise the invited audience.
