We are pleased to announce that the next DRIFT International Residency will be held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, as part of British Council’s TRANSFORM Programme. The aim of this week long residency is to open dialogue and exchanges between artists from various disciplines with a view to work with the integration of body, technology and immersive environments.
We invite proposals from visual artists, performance makers, music, sound and digital artists who wish to explore new ways of making performance where the digital and the live meet.
This year, as part of the Brazil-UK TRANSFORM programme, the residency fee will be funded by the British Council. This means, if your proposal is accepted, your fees will be waived. However, selected participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation for the period of the residency.
The deadline for proposals is Monday, APRIL 1st 2013.
