Preavis: to experiment a project of performance in different contexts. A privileged time to refine and re-build its project  of performance, to explore ways of creating, to establish artistic collaborations. A residency in the schedule of the Festival. Selected artists will perform in urban space and indoors.

Themes of Préavis 2014:
-The body as the last space of freedom
-The citizen body
-The public body

Participation: Every artist proposes a project of performance (or installation performance) already experimented or in process, inspired by these themes, precise but open enough to be adapted to the context of the city of Marseille and to eventual collaborations with other artists.

Every artist commits to:
-Participate to the residency in public space and to 3 programmed moments
-Create a radio performance (10 min)
-Participate in meetings in bars
-Propose an intimate version of the project (in Hôtel room)

Artistic Field: All disciplines focused on Performance including Dance, Theatre, Urban arts, Visual arts, Installation- Performance, architecture/Townplanning etc.

Places: City of Marseille, Theatre of Bernardines, Friche la Belle de Mai

Financial conditions:
-Honorary fee: 500 € (700 € for 2 artists and more)
-We offer Accommodation, Food, Technical and logistic help.
-We can help you to find money for your travel (consulates, embassy) (Christine Bouvier)
