The Marlborough Theatre: Commission for BAME LGBT+ Artists
Are you a UK based artist/performer or theatre maker creating work about the intersections of LGBT+ & BAME identities?
Do you need development time and producing support for a show you are currently working on?
Are you interested in presenting your show during Brighton Fringe 2018?
The Marlborough Theatre are commissioning two LGBTQ+ BAME artist/companies as part of a project funded by Arts Council through the Elevate scheme.
We are seeking 2 artists/companies primarily working in theatre & performance. Artists will have a show that requires further final development, an existing work that is looking for redevelopment alongside mentorship, or a clear performance idea that is ready to be realised in this time frame.
Week long residencies will take place at The Marlborough Theatre during January, February and March ’18, in which time participants will have access to a mentor, dramaturg, plus producing support from The Marlborough producing team.
